Frontline Source Group is recruiting a full-time, direct hire Controller for a confidential client hiring in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The role pays $110,000 to $120,000 base plus a 20 percent quarterly performance bonus, offers remote or hybrid work for Florida candidates only, and requires expert QuickBooks skills and strong GAAP knowledge. The Controller owns the entire accounting function end to end for a company with more than 100 years of history.
Responsibilities: run AR and AP end to end including invoicing, collections, vendor management, and payments; process payroll accurately and compliantly; complete daily accounting and reconciliations across bank, credit card, and GL accounts; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with full ownership of month-end and year-end close; build budgets from scratch and report actuals; produce forecasts and recommendations; establish repeatable processes and internal controls; serve as primary contact with banks on credit lines and rates; coordinate with the external CPA firm and auditors; act as in-house QuickBooks authority.
Requirements: 10 plus years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience including companies in the $5 million to $30 million revenue range; expert QuickBooks Desktop or Online; strong GAAP knowledge; strong Excel; bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA a plus but not required; Florida residency.
Compensation: $110,000 to $120,000 base, 20 percent quarterly bonus, comprehensive health benefits, flexible PTO, remote or hybrid arrangement.
