About the Job
I am looking for a caregiver with experience/understanding in memory care who can check on my mom and provide some companionship 2-4 days per week. I do not live nearby and need someone who can communicate with me regularly by phone or text with updates/issues. My care concerns include checking her medication, picking up refills, running errands, transport to appts, answering everyday questions, possibly joining her on her long walks. She is very physically active but has notable short term memory and time loss. She prepares her own meals and does quite well if her personal schedule is not interrupted. Any change may cause confusion. She is generally upbeat and happy and gets 25k steps daily on her walks. She will be open to you joining her and it won't take long for your visits to be a known part of her schedule.
