Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Park Capital Search is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to serve as a key resource for complex tax issues and client financial needs. The role prepares and reviews tax returns, supports strategic tax planning and financial analysis, manages assigned workflows, and mentors junior accounting staff while ensuring compliance with tax laws and accounting standards. Responsibilities Prepares and reviews advanced tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, including forms 1040, 1120S, 1120, 1041, 709, 1065 and SMLLCs, utilizing both basic returns and projections with the support of advanced software tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance Identify and resolves complex tax issues and consults with Tax Manager or other senior team members when additional expertise is required Reviews and analyzes compiled financial statements, making recommendations for adjustments as needed Works with the business management team on clients’ day-to-day needs (refinance applications, etc.) Develop, compile and prepare various cash management and investment reports to assist in comprehensive financial planning Manages the workflow of assigned tasks, including seeking clarification on priorities based on urgency and importance Engages in various aspects of the firm’s work to continuously expand knowledge in new areas Appreciation of the concepts of firm profitability and target hours to efficiently manage time across tasks Maintain knowledge regarding tax laws, tax software & technology and accounting standards Participates in the year-end closeout process, ensuring all financial documentation and tax returns are completed accurately and on time Provides mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, supporting knowledge sharing and technical develop ment Skills California Tax Experience is Require d • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required • 3-5 years experience in public accounting or tax consulting, with strong background in tax compliance and planning • Advance knowledge of tax concepts including, AGI, Itemized Deductions, Taxable Income, etc • Familiarity with different business entity types (e.g. LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp) and understanding their unique tax implications • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously • Detail oriented approach to work, ensuring accuracy in all tax-related tasks • Proficiency with MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Proficiency with CCH Access, CCH Answers Connect, PDF Flyer or XCM required • Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence Experience working effectively in a team e nvironment Masters in Taxation or equivalent preferred Experience in Business Management or related industry pr eferred CPA designation or progress toward Certified Public Accounting preferred Benefits Fully remote role Company Overview Park Capital Search is a global finance and accounting search firm.
