They are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Marketing Consultant to lead their social media activities and enhance the Foundation's visibility and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Commit to a standard three-year Board term
Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with the Foundation’s mission and priorities
Create content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X
Write clear and engaging posts covering research achievements, educational programmes, patient impact, volunteer activities, and organizational milestones
Work with Board members to obtain stories, photographs, and videos from clinical missions, conferences, and educational events
Maintain a consistent publishing schedule
Ensure published content reflects the Foundation’s voice and values
Monitor audience engagement and recommend approaches for expanding the Foundation’s reach
Support awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and major organizational announcements
Collaborate with other Board members to strengthen the Foundation’s overall communications strategy
Skills
Experience managing social media accounts for nonprofit organizations, healthcare institutions, universities, businesses, or professional organizations
Excellent writing and editing skills
The ability to communicate complex medical and scientific subjects clearly and engagingly
Experience creating digital content using graphic design, photography, video editing, or multimedia storytelling tools
Knowledge of social media analytics and audience engagement strategies
Strong organizational skills
The ability to manage multiple projects independently
An interest in global health, international development, healthcare communications, or cancer advocacy
Excellent interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively with a diverse international volunteer team
Experience in healthcare, nonprofit communications, science communication, or public relations
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar content-creation platforms
Experience managing LinkedIn pages or nonprofit digital campaigns
Photography or video-production experience
Experience working with international organizations or multicultural teams
