<p><strong>The short version</strong></p><p>Type is a independent accessories brand, and we're looking for a video editor to turn our footage into short-form (and sometimes longform) video for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.</p><p><br></p><p>We shoot and send the footage. You turn it into edits people watch to the end: well paced, cleanly titled and right for each platform.</p><p><br></p><p>What you'll do</p><p>- Edit video for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube (Shorts and Longform) from footage we send</p><p>- Cut for pace and length, and add on-screen text, subtitles and music</p><p>- Deliver on deadline and turn notes around quickly</p><p>- Keep project files and exports organized so anything can be found and re-cut later</p><p><br></p><p>You probably have</p><p>- Short-form edits you made yourself that you can link to</p><p>- Speed in Premiere, CapCut, Edits or similar</p><p>- An eye for pacing, clean on-screen text and color</p><p>- A preference for understated over loud</p><p>- The reliability to hit deadlines and take notes well</p><p><br></p><p>Logistics</p><p>- Contract (1099), part time, ongoing</p><p>- Fully remote, US-based.
