We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to help diagnose and repair a website that is currently down.
The site is:
Hosted on SiteGround
Built in WordPress
Designed primarily with Elementor
Uses WooCommerce for e-commerce
The website is currently displaying a “There has been a critical error on this website” message, including when attempting to access the WordPress admin/login page.
SiteGround hosting is active, and we have full access to SiteGround Site Tools, File Manager, backups, and server logs.
A PHP error log has also grown unusually large, which may indicate a recurring plugin, theme, PHP, or WordPress compatibility issue.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Diagnose the root cause of the critical error
- Restore the site safely
- Identify any plugin, theme, PHP, Elementor, WooCommerce, or WordPress conflicts
- Preserve the existing site design, content, and store
- Recommend any necessary updates or preventative fixes once the site is stable
Please do not make major changes or restore backups without first identifying the likely cause and discussing the recommended approach with us.
We would like someone who is available to begin as soon as possible and has strong experience troubleshooting WordPress sites hosted on SiteGround.
