Collections Representative, Bilingual French

Job Description:

Determine the root cause of aging invoices using problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Leverage system functionality and established processes to resolve aging invoices
Work within established procedures and adhere to quality guidelines
Escalate complex issues to senior team members and/or leadership
Contribute ideas for process improvement
Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers
Maintain open lines of communication and build rapport through timely, professional service
Investigate account issues and respond to customer inquiries
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice disputes and improve payment outcomes
Continue developing collections-process skills and knowledge
Perform other duties according to team and/or country-specific requirements

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 2 years of collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable or related finance experience
Bilingual French requirement
French language proficiency required (spoken and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs (preferred)
Effective and flexible communication skills (preferred)
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills (preferred)
Critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to use own judgement and make sound decisions (preferred)
Ability to work in fast-paced, professional, and deadline driven environment (preferred)
